Rigging Inspection Training
Currently numerous competitors are charging for rigging inspection training .
Rigging users should be aware that taking these types of training courses
does not qualify them as competent inspectors unless their employer is
satisfied with additional requirements as per part 15 of the OH & S Regulation.
Inspection training should be done in combination with additional education on
crane & rigging applications to understand the full impact of the equipment
and job being performed.

Cranes
Rigging & Crane Training
We offer a one and two day training course.
The one day BASIC RIGGING course includes the following:
  • Legislative code & requirements
  • Responsibilities of the Employer & Employee
  • Hazard assessments & Risk potentials
  • Rigging equipment and the intended applications
  • Hitch functions and proper applications
  • Load calculations
  • Rigging inspections
  • Classroom Exam
The two day Basic Overhead crane training includes the above mentioned as well as:
  • Overhead crane operator responsibilities
  • Technical Crane Knowledge
  • Crane limits and controls
  • Lift Plan calculations
  • Hands on Practical Crane use and lifting
  • Classroom exam
Upon completion of the courses, the individual will receive a certificate of completion.
As per section 15 of the OH & S Regulation, only the employer can deem the employee
competent to perform the tasks as required with proper training and qualifications and
experience to work safely.
